I read the podcasting and vodcasting article by Peter Meng. This article was pretty good but like i have said all the time that i’m a more hands on type of guy. I read all the stuff on it but i really need to see it in action to get the full gest of things. From the way i read it, i could do this stuff at home. I would just need to get myself a good mic and download the free software for RSS News Reader for the Podcasting. Now for that Vodcasting, i’m not sure i would be able to do that but i really don’t know if i want to even do Vodcasting anyway. I’ll just stick to just trying to do Podcasting.
I’m not one to write a book on things, but i do like to do some reading more than writing. So everyone, don’t get mad if this article is not a very long response to what i read.
I feel the same way, I don’t think I’m much of a video editor or video style person. I know I don’t have to really edit the video/vod’s but I think I would stick with podcasting, it’s easier, cheaper and can still get your point across.

Well I think it would be cool to get experience in both worlds.. maybe its because my younger brother is into video editing and I am a bit familiar with some of the software and most of his work. I tell you its not as bad as you think it is. I am pretty sure if you guys get your hands on it and get into the mix of it, ya’ll would like it???

I def. know what you mean. The best thing about podcasting is its lack of $$$$$$ required to use it.

I agree with you about having to see how something works other than just reading it. It looks like from everyone else’s response to the article the majority seems to be more on the side of pod casting other than vodcasting see how vodcasting makes it seems like you need $$$$ unlike podcasting.

Seems pretty easy to use, but to me it’s all in the visual aspect of it. The vodcasting is more tempting, yet very expensive to get in to.

I’m with you guys, at the moment it’s just a little bit too much of a hassle to do everything it takes to create a VODcast. If you’re into video editing it’s a different story, but not for the every day internet user. I do, however, think that in a couple of years VODcasts will be tons easier to create, maybe even with something as simple as a phone.
